A neighborhood where you can thrive.

Oak tree shaded streets and beautiful sunsets year-round. We welcome family and friends to explore our space and discover the hidden gems in our backyard.

We are a community of people who care about the city, our neighborhood and each other.  Welcome home, neighbor.

5 Decades of neighborhood preservation

Indian Beach-Sapphire Shores Association (IBSSA) members have worked together for over 50 years to enhance and preserve the Old Florida environment and eclectic character of our historic bayfront neighborhood.

Ready for a few more sunsets?

Residents of all ages, from students to young families to retirees, live in an eclectic mix of homes in architectural styles ranging from 1920s Mediterranean Revival to 1950s ranches and the famous local modern vernacular of the Sarasota School of Architecture.

Hey neighbor, we invite you to come join us at our annual events such as the neighborhood picnic, yard sale, and other sponsored events.
